a) Seller Membership - When sellers join we collect their billing information as well as their company's sales information.
b) Email Alert Subscriptions - We collect email address, contact information, and demographic information from subscribers to our Email Alerts.
c) Search and Traffic Log - All searches performed on Closeoutcentral.com are tracked and visits to all pages are recorded.

The Security of Your Information
CCC uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology which encrypts sensitive information such as your name, address, phone number, credit card, etc. Our website also uses the Verisign digital identification service which allows your browser to properly confirm the server you are transacting with CCC's server. During the information transaction, the server is properly identified with your browser and the information is encrypted before your personal and credit card information is transmitted.

Your Use of Other's Information
In order to facilitate interaction between buyers and sellers, CCC allows you to access the contact information of Listing Companies on the site. By entering into our User Agreement, you agree that CCC grants you a license to use this information only for CCC-related communications that are not unsolicited commercial messages. In addition, under absolutely no circumstances may you disclose personally identifiable information about another user to a third party without our consent and the consent of such other user after adequate disclosure.
Your Consent
By using the CCC web site, you consent to the information collection and use practices that have been previously stated. If for any reason we deem it necessary to change our privacy policy, we will post the changes on this page. This ensures that you will always be aware of what information we collect, how it is used, and under what circumstances we disclose it. Regardless of later updates, CCC will never use the information that you submit under this policy in a new way without first providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prevent that use.
Changes to Our Policy
Any and all changes to our Privacy Policy and/or business practices that effect the Privacy Policy will be posted in the online Privacy Policy no sooner than 72 hours before the change is to take place.
